No, bwin is not the best online casino in Belgium, but it is one of the best all-rounders. We rank it sixth out of the Belgian-licensed brands with a 4.6/5 score: excellent for players who want casino, live casino, poker, sports and dice under licensed Belgian brands, held back by the absence of a loyalty programme and withdrawals of 2–4 working days. Our number one is Napoleon Games. Here is exactly how bwin compares and who should still choose it.
How we decide ‘best’ in Belgium
The best online casino in Belgium is not the one with the biggest ad budget or the flashiest welcome offer, because welcome bonuses are banned for licensed operators since 1 September 2024. We compare brands on what still makes a difference: licence and backing, game library, payout speed, the value of loyalty schemes and promotions, support, and apps. Every brand in our Belgian online casino ranking is scored against those same criteria, which is why bwin lands where it does.
For English speakers living in Belgium, one extra criterion matters: language. Many Belgian sites are built for French and Dutch speakers first, with English as an afterthought or missing entirely from support. bwin is one of the brands where English is a fully supported language for live chat and phone, which is a genuine plus if you moved here for work and do not want to argue about a withdrawal in your third language.
Where bwin is among the best
The licence set. bwin’s online casino runs under A+571352 via Infiniti Casino Oostende, the casino in the Kursaal of Ostend. Sports betting runs on bwin.be under F1+ 117735 (Leader Bet NV), and dice games on bwindice.be under B+16872 (Tilt SRL). The brand belongs to Entain, a listed international group, and has been present in Belgium since 2013. Solid on every level; our bwin casino review has the complete details.
The product range. Casino, live casino, poker, sports betting and dice: only a handful of Belgian brands cover all five. The casino counts 4,000+ games and around 140 live tables, with providers such as NetEnt, Games Global, Pragmatic Play, Yggdrasil, Play’n GO, Big Time Gaming, Nolimit City, Blueprint Gaming, Red Tiger, Evolution and Amusnet. Branded live tables and The Chase Live game show add some exclusivity.
Payment choice. Bancontact, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Apple Pay, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard and bank transfer, with a €10 minimum deposit and a €10 minimum withdrawal. PayPal is the smart pick if you want one method for both directions; our PayPal casino guide lists other sites that take it.
Support. Live chat every day from 09:00 to 00:00, a phone line (+32 2 290 02 24, 09:00–21:00), a contact form and a FAQ, in French, Dutch and English. That is better coverage than several brands ranked above it.
Where bwin falls behind the leaders
No loyalty programme. In a market without bonuses, loyalty is where value lives, and bwin has no loyalty or VIP programme in Belgium. Instead it runs time-limited campaigns: slot tournaments with cash prize pools (the Big Bounty Challenge shared €100,000 among 7,000 winners between 30 March and 7 June 2026), Cash Fall daily prize drops, live casino promotions like Blackjack Heat and Fortune Roulette, and poker freerolls. Fun, but not as steady as cashback or a points shop. Our bwin promotions page tracks what is live now.
Withdrawal speed. Most withdrawals take 2–4 working days. Bancontact, cards, Paysafecard and Apple Pay are deposit-only. Limits are €5,000 per day, €15,000 per week and €25,000 per month.
Three domains. Casino, sports and dice run under three licences and domains (bwincasino.be, bwin.be, bwindice.be), with separate native apps for casino and sports. Workable, but less seamless than a one-account brand.
bwin vs the top of the Belgian ranking
| Criterion | bwin | Napoleon Games | Unibet | Ladbrokes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rank and score | 6th, 4.6/5 | 1st, 4.9/5 | 2nd, 4.8/5 | 7th, 4.6/5 |

The table tells the story. Napoleon Games wins on payout speed and cashback; see why in our Napoleon Games review. Unibet matches bwin’s range and adds a loyalty club, as the Unibet casino review shows. Ladbrokes is the closest like-for-like rival, with the same score and also no loyalty programme; the Ladbrokes review compares the details.
Who should still pick bwin
Being sixth out of the Belgian brands is not a weak result. bwin is the right choice for three types of players:
- Poker players who want freerolls and a casino from the same brand.
- Sports bettors who already use bwin.be and want a casino with the same login style and payment methods, plus odds boosts on big events.
- Live casino fans who value 140 live tables and The Chase Live over cashback.
If cashback on losses or same-day payouts are your priority, look higher in the ranking. If variety matters more than anything, bwin delivers.
Verdict: not the best, but a top-tier all-rounder
Is bwin the best online casino in Belgium? Not in our ranking, where Napoleon Games takes first place. But bwin is a reliable, fully licensed all-rounder with a strong live casino, poker, a large slot library and support that answers until midnight. My advice: if poker or live tables are your thing, sign up at bwin, deposit with PayPal so you can withdraw the same way, and keep an eye on its cash tournaments.
